A First Glimpse of Air France’s JFK Terminal One Lounge
New York is the most important and strategic of destinations in the US for many European carriers. Air France is no exception.
As is the case with most premium focused European carriers, Air France too has its own proprietary lounge in the city’s prime airport JFK.
New York JFK has slowly slipped in airport rankings, becoming one of America’s least favorite. However, ongoing work aims to reverse the trend with heavy instrument going into the facility with Terminal One being the renovation’s crown jewel.
Many premium carriers have already announced their relocation at the airport with Air France now giving us a first look at what it intends to do with its own space.
The lounge is expected to be one of the best equipped outside of the airline’s base in Paris CDG.

The Lounge’s Highlights
Designing of the lounge saw Air France teams collaborating with MARKS Brandimage agency. That is the exact same agency Air France closely worked with for its latest lounge in Frankfurt International Airport.
New York JFK’s lounge will offer seating for up to 400 travelers and:
- Dining areas with French inspired items
- Bar stocked with premium French wines and Champagnes
- Beauty and skin care areas
- Work areas
- A section exclusive to Flying Blue Ultimate status holders
La Premiere passengers will also benefit from an additional perk. That is access to an exclusive area with dining prepared by a renowned French chef.
