Air France Opens Its New Lounge at Frankfurt Terminal 3
Among the airlines that have relocated operations to Frankfurt’s terminal 3 is Air France. Despite FRA airport being the largest and most strategic hub for Lufthansa, an Air France competitor, it remains extremely important for the french carrier to have its own proprietary longe here.
Diverting passengers away or not losing them to Lufthansa is the name of the game, especially in the premium segment. Therefore showcasing your own brand identity and wowing passengers is extremely important even away from home.
The new lounge welcomed its first passengers on September 1st 2026 and is now a strategic asset for Air France in Germany.

What Does the New Lounge Look Like?
The lounge was designed by Air France in collaboration with MARKS Brandimage agency. It covers a total 500 square meter floorspace in Frankfurt airport T3 and is decorated and furnished with a distinctive Air France style.
Starting from the color palette, the lounge features the unmistakable Air France blue, red, and white.
Furniture sourced from premium French brands such as Pierre Paulin and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.

Seating for up to 120 passengers should be enough to handle even flight rush hour at FRA airport.
A selection of local and French food and beverage options will be available in the lounge. That includes local beers and French Champagne options.
Timings and Eligibility
As for the opening hours, this is not a 24/7 lounge. It will offer a place to stay for eligible passengers during the daytime when Air France operates flight in and out of Frankfurt. Specifically the lounge’s timings are, opening 5:00 a.m. closing 9:30 p.m.
For context Air France’s first flight out of Frankfurt departs at 7AM and its last at 6:30 PM. That means the lounge will remain open well after the last flight departs.
To access the lounge you either need to be flying out of Frankfurt on an Air France flight in Business class or be:
