For an airline which prides itself in offering first class as a travel option having a dedicated lounge is a necessity which cannot be done without. Lufthansa is among the very few airlines in Europe and across the world to offer such a travel experience from both of its hubs in Munich and Frankfurt. However, for some time first class passengers didn’t have a dedicated lounge in Munich Airport Terminal T2 during the ongoing renovations of the facility. Finally the lounge is once again open for business and ready to welcome premium class passengers. Here’s what it looks like.

What Does The Renovated Lufthansa Munich Terminal 2 Lounge Look Like?

The look and feel is exactly what you would expect from Lufthansa: essential, elegant and modern. The space offers many seating options and is defined by toners of grey, yellow and white which align perfectly with the company’s brand identity. Also, in a more German way, the lounge is defined by furniture, carpets and other items defined by straight lines and very few curves, which you might instead find in say an Air France lounge.

The newly renovated Lufthansa First Class Lounge covers a floorspace of 1,000 square meters and now include redesigned:

  • “A la carte” restaurant
  • Front cooking buffet
  • Redesigned bar

The lounge as you might expect from a business traveler focus airline has all you need to conduct business while on the go. Amenities such as work areas featuring printers and photocopiers along with, of course, internet connectivity.

Additionally the lounge features elegant washrooms and plenty of space to relax and unwind before or in between flights. The reopening of the Lufthansa Munich T2 First Class Lounge is a key piece of the puzzle for the German carrier. Now the travel experience is once again complete on the ground and in the air where the airline now offers Allegris First Class flights on its A350s from Munich to destinations such as:

  • Chicago
  • San Francisco
  • San Diego
  • Shanghai
  • Bengaluru
