Airbus since its birth with the launch of the revolutionary A300 has come a long way. The airline is now the largest airplane manufacturer worldwide. In the past years Airbus has outperformed its main rival, Boeing, in terms of aircraft delivery and in many ways even in terms of innovation.

The European manufacturer since acquiring the A220, formerly known as the CS100 and CS300, programme has even a more complete lineup of aircraft compared with its American rivals. Currently the lineup of planes in production features:

The A220 and A320 represent the single aisle narrow body offering for the manufacturer. On the other hand the A330 and A350 are the wide body planes currently in production.

Not featured in the list is the A380 which has gone out of production although there are still quite a large number of them still flying, mainly for Emirates.
