Flying the New A321neo LR

As is the trend with many airlines around the world lower demand sectors, previously unprofitable, are now being served with smaller fuel efficient single aisle planes. This is also the case for Philippine Airlines flight PR223.

Passengers will fly the Philippine Airlines Manila to Perth flight aboard the modern Airbus A321neo LR. One of the most popular aircraft types on long range low demand sectors.

Philippine Airlines fits its long range fleet of Airbus A321neo with a 2 class configurations featuring:

  • 12 Business class seats
  • 156 Economy class seats

The business class seats, compared to the domestic version, offer extra comfort thanks to their ability to transform into lie flat beds. A nice touch for a premium cabin on such a long sector even though aboard a narrow body airliner.
