Qantas Reopens Its Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport

Great news for Qantas frequent flyers, in particular habitual passengers of flight from Hong Kong International Airport to Australia. Qantas has just re-opened its frequent flyer lounge in Hong Kong for the first time since being forced by covid to shut it down. Let’s find out what the news is all about and how it’s change travel for Qantas passengers.

What Does The Qantas Lounge in Hong Kong Airport Offer?

The lounge extends over an area of 2,000 square meters and can accomodate approximately 290 passengers at a time. The area has been completely renovated during its down time with all new interior decorations.

The Qantas International Lounge in Hong Kong offers views over the airport’s apron, allowing to see airplane movements outside. However what everyone is interested in are the amenities of the lounge itself. The Hong Kong Qantas lounge features both a dining and bar area offering a vast selection of Australian wines and beers along with traditional Chinese dishes in a menu designed by Qantas Creative director of food, Neil Perry.

For the business travellers looking to catch up on their emails and work during transit time at HKIA, there is a dedicated business zone with dedicated power and high speed data outlets. Personal note, those data outlets for extra speed I’m sure are something the business crowd will appreciate.
