Air France Unveils Its New Lounge at Munich International Airport

Air France has unveiled its new airport lounge at Munich’s Franz Josef Strauss international airport. A space to make the journey on the French flag carrier a little more special and comfortable for its customers. Let’s find out a little more about the lounge and who has access to it.

The New Air France Lounge at Munich Airport

Today, 12th of December 2022, Air France opens its new lounge at Terminal 1 of Munich’s International Airport in Germany. The lounge has a surface of 227 square meters with seating for up to 75 people.

The new AF lounge is decorated following the airline’s classic color scheme of blue grey and touches of red. A space to set the mood before boarding your flight.

Once in the lounge you’ll have access to complimentary Wi-Fi, a selection of savoury and sweet dishes along with gourmet salads, soups and vegetarian meals. Lastly a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will also be made available.

Finally for the business travellers there will be a new co-working area to make time at the airport productive.

Access to The Lounge

The lounge will be open everyday from 5:15AM to 8:30PM and it will cater primarily to passengers flying on Air France and KLM’s 11 daily flights from the Bavarian airport. Obviously to have access to the lounge you’ll either have to have purchased a Business class ticket or have have Elite Plus status in AF’s frequent flier programme Flying Blue. Access will be also granted other SkyTeam passengers travelling in Business class.

If you really want to get in to the lounge but don’t have a Business class reservation or high enough status, you can buy your way in. Passengers travelling in Economy and Premium Economy can enter paying a fee of 25 Euros or 6,000 miles.
