Although there is still quite some time separating us from the next summer season, airlines are hard at work planning their schedule and network. ITA Airways is no exception. The Italian flag carrier is planning its new seasonal summer destination for 2024 from its 2 hubs in Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate.
The New Seasonal 2024 ITA Airways Routes
While we’re waiting for summer to come around once again, it does no harm thinking and dreaming of where our next holiday might bring us. To help us get inspired here’s ITA Airways’ 2024 summer’s seasonal flights.
All flights in this first list will be served with flights from both of the airline’s hubs in Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino. We still don’t have any details on the scheduling though. Nonetheless here’s the list of the seasonal flights ITA will be offering in 2024:
- Rhodes
- Ibiza
- Palma de Maiorca
- Minorca
- Heraklion
- Corfu
- Lampedusa
- Pantelleria
There are an additional 2 destinations that will however be available only from the airline’s major intercontinental hub of Rome. Them being:
- Split
- Kefalonia
All flights are clearly leisure travel focused. The airline’s goal is that of intercepting as many Italian and foreign travellers making their way to these popular destinations. Maybe even trying to gain some market share from the LCCs that dominate the market in Q3 and more broadly speaking in the summer months.
New Planes For These New Routes
It’ll be of the upmost importance that ITA takes deliveries of all the planes it has in plan to. Without the new arrivals it would prove quite complicated, if not impossible, to maintain the current schedule and further enhance the network with flights to these tourist destinations. The airlines is expecting a significant number A320neo, A321neo and 220s deliveries in coming months to hopefully make summer 2024 a success.
