More Emirates Flights to South Korea Starting February 2024

Emirates is one of the big super connectors of the aviation world. An airline that transports passengers from and to every corner of the globe via its hub at Dubai International Airport. The airline has, through the years, specialised in transit traffic with a particular focus on travellers making their way from Europe to Asia and Australia and viceversa. One of the most underserved high demand destinations in east Asia of the EK network is about to get more flights, frequencies and seats. Emirates is about to power up its operations to Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN). Let’s take a closer look at what the new EK324 will look like and how it’ll operate.

Seoul: More Emirates Seats, Capacity and Flights to South Korea

South Korea had for a long time been a market which Emirates had many difficulties making a dent in. The airline was limited by political reasons to a fixed number of flights to the country’s main aviation hub of Seoul Incheon Airport. Only recently have matters changed.

In recent years Emirates first made the Dubai to Seoul flight a daily service and now is ready to up its frequency again. South Korea is a growing market for tourists, and is a powerhouse in terms of manufacturing and technology. Therefore it is an extremely attractive place to fly to for both the high demand for premium cabins and the possibility of offering belly cargo capacity.

Currently, until February 19th 2024, Emirates operates and will operate a daily service. From that date onwards there will be 3 more weekly flights. The current flight is EK322, the new service will instead fly as EK324.

The addition of the 3 weekly flights will translate to over 1000 more seats between Dubai and Seoul on a weekly basis.

Incheon Airport Apron View. Seoul's main international airport will soon see more flights arrive on a weekly basis from Dubai International Airport DXB with Emirates increasing its commercial services.

EK324 Dubai to Seoul New Flight Schedule

As mentioned, the number of weekly flights will increase by 3. Therefore there will be, starting February 19th, 10 weekly services. The additional 3 flights will operate on:

  • Monday
  • Wednesday
  • Friday

As for the schedule both flights will depart during the night hours. The schedule of this flight as is the case with all of Emirates’ flights is chosen so that it facilitates connections to onward flights to other parts of the world, Europe in particular.
