As countries in the far east progressively reopen their borders to mass tourism we see airlines returning to such countries. This is exactly the case of Emirates, which is ready to resume operations on the Dubai Taipei flight sector. In this post we’ll go over all the details regarding this EK flight.
The Details of the Dubai Taipei Emirates Flight
Up until Covid hit Emirates operated the Dubai Taipei flight on a daily basis with a high capacity airliner. The middle eastern airline would connect the two cities flying its Airbus A380 in a 2 class configuration (Business and Economy Class).
Operations are set to resume on November 6th 2022 and will take flight number EK366 outbound and EK367 inbound to Dubai. The scheduling for the Dubai Taiwan flight will be as follows:
- Departure from Dubai at 2:50 AM arriving into Taipei at 14:45 in the afternoon
- Departing back from Taiwan at 22:45 in the evening to arrive in Dubai at 4:35 AM
As was before Covid, the flight will have a daily frequency. However there will be a difference in the Emirates operations, as we’ll see just in 1 second.

Which Plane Will Fly The Route?
The main change in the operation of the Dubai Taipei sector is the aircraft that will be used for the flight. It will no longer be the mighty A380 to fly the route but the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER.
It’s very likely that the 777 will feature a 3 class configuration (First/Business/Economy). This is the most popular configuration present on Emirates’ 777 fleet.
Perfect Timing for Connecting Flights
The departure and arrival times in and out of Dubai are carefully chosen, as are for all flights. These times allow passengers to connect easily from and to flights to EK’s extensive network in Europe and Africa.
Although there is still much ground to make up in order to return to the pre pandemic status quo, it is nice to see routes finally reopening.
