Just recently, Frankfurt International Airport opened its newest terminal. Terminal 3 is an important update for the airport, and airlines are starting to relocate. Among those airlines is Air Astana.

Air Astana Relocates To New Frankfurt T3

As of May 5th, 2026, Air Astana, the Kazakh airline, has relocated its operations to Terminal 3 in Frankfurt International Airport.

It is an important upgrade for passengers and an important signal for the airline status. Passengers will get a more premium and modern experience traveling through the newest terminal at the airport. The airline can project its image as a premium travel option by operating from this new facility.

What it also means for premium travelers, which include business class passengers and Nomad Club Gold and Diamond members, is that they will have access to the new Priority Lounge located on the fifth floor after passport control.

Air Astana operates all of its flights to Germany on Airbus A321neo. They will now be all operating out of Frankfurt International Airport Terminal 3 as the airline has just relocated operations.

Which Flights Does The Airline Operate to FRA?

Air Astana’s three flights from Frankfurt International Airport will be operating out of Terminal 3.
