Finally Here Are Prices for Lufthansa Allegris Special Seats

It’s only been a few weeks since Lufthansa finally introduced on its flights the new Allegris First Class product. However, it wasn’t available to be booked just yet. Initially the airline chose to offer it to its most loyal customers and frequent flyers rather than make it available to the general public immediately. A way of getting people talking about the product and introducing it to some influential figures that could amplify the magnitude of the news. Now though, the date on which it’ll be possible to openly book the new Allegris first class suites is finally known. Also we got some interesting information regarding the pricing of what Lufthansa considers special Allegris business class seats.

A New 4 Class Configured A350-900 Arriving – Also Allegris First Class Open for Bookings

Until now Lufthansa only had one plane featuring all 4 new classes of travel. That number is doubling with the arrival of a brand new additional Airbus A350-900 featuring:

  • Economy
  • Premium Economy
  • Business
  • First Class Allegris

Also, after a first “invitation only” phase, the airline’s new Allegris first class suites will be available for booking from March 30th 2025 onwards.

Lufthansa Charging For “Special” Allegris Business Class Seats

As bookings open for the new Lufthansa Allegris first class in 2025, the airline has also announced a package of surcharges to book certain specific seats across First and Business class. Seats the airline identifies as non-standard.

Let’s kick things off with first class. The new Allegris first class has 3 suites. Two side suites and a central one, which is much larger and capable of seating two passengers. If you are interested in booking the central suite for single use, meaning you travel alone, the surcharge on the original fare is 1,900 Euro.

Then we move on to Lufthansa’s Allegris business class seat surcharges. They break down as follows::

  • Privacy Seat – extra 100€ fee
  • Extra Long Bed – extra 100€ fee
  • Extra Space Seat – extra 130€ fee
  • Business Class Suite (which has higher walls and a private wardrobe) – extra 400€ fee

And to wrap things up we’ve got a little something for Economy Class too. Seats with extra legroom, this makes total sense, will have an extra charge on top of the basic fare of 50 Euro.

All other business class seats the airline identified as standard Allegris will be bookable with no extra charge on the paid fare. Now it all falls into place, this is why the airline chose to set up its new Allegris cabin with so many different seat types and orientations.
