Strengthening British Airways’ India Network
As india and the UK signed an FTA business is expected to increase in coming months and years. Anticipating this trend British Airways is preparing to power up its services from and to the country in 2026.
Currently British Airways operates a staggering 56 weekly flights to 5 destinations in India. Those include the likes of:

- Hyderabad (HYD)

- Bengaluru (BLR)
- Mumbai (BOM)

Third Daily Flight Between London and Delhi Launching in 2026
If all regulatory approvals are granted, British Airways plans to power up its flight from London Heathrow to Delhi in 2026.
The plan is to introduce an additional third daily flight which will strengthen the current service lineup featuring:
- BA257 – The early morning service
- BA143 – The late night service
It is safe to assume that the new service, provided it receives necessary approvals, will depart London Heathrow something around midday. An addition to the route network which greatly enhance travel options for passengers, particularly those which are connecting through London.

First Class Returns to Mumbai and Club Suite Expands Across India
Additionally, British Airways is planning on improving its in-flight product on flights to India for its premium cabins. All BA Indian destinations are involved, however, among them Mumbai is the one to get the flashiest upgrade.
