Emirates is one of the most active international airlines in providing air travel options to the Philippines. There is a huge filipino expat community in the Middle East and a larger worldwide diaspora that makes the country extremely attractive.
With 21 weekly flights already operated weekly to Manila, Emirates is preparing to increase that with further 4 weekly flights on April 2nd 2026. That’s when the new flight EK330/EK331 will launch and increase weekly Dubai (DXB) to Manila (MNL) flights to 25 weekly.

What’s Changing With the New EK330/EK331 Flight
- Start date: 2 April 2026
- Added frequency: +4 weekly (EK330 / EK331)
- Days: Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Saturday
- Route: DXB–MNL–DXB
- Net effect: DXB–MNL goes from 21 to 25 weekly
- Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER (3-class configuration)
The New Emirates EK330/EK331 Flight Timings

Flights will operate out of Dubai every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Arrival into Manila’s NAIA is in the early hours of the following morning meaning that the return flights are on the following day.
The Dubai to Manila Route Remains an Exclusive Boeing 777-300ER Service
The new additional flight from Dubai to Manila, operating under flight number EK330 will share the same aircraft type as all other services to the Philippines. In simpler terms that means that the Boeing 777-300ER will be the aircraft flying this new service too.
Emirates won’t be sending out one of its recently retrofitted versions. It will instead use the older 3-class configured Boeing 777-300ERs featuring:
- 8 First Class Suites – in a 1-2-1 layout
- 42 Business Class Seats – in a 2-3-2 layout
- 304 Economy Class Seats – in a 3-4-3 layout
You might have noticed that, and if you haven’t here I am pointing it out, that this configuration features the infamous business class middle seat. Also 3 out of the 7 seats don’t have direct aisle access in this setup in business class.
Additionally, deploying this configuration means that EK330 won’t offer Emirates’ new premium economy services.
How Emirates Flight EK330 Will Benefit Passengers
The benefits will be immediately apparent to travelers. Emirates will offer more travel options with more flexibility. The return leg arrives back into Dubai just ahead of the Europe-bound flights further enhancing onwards travel options. Increased connectivity will also increase travel options to the US via Dubai.
Cargo: The Other Reason For Emirates Increasing Flights to Manila in 2026
Passenger demand has always been strong on the Dubai to Manila route. However there’s another reason that possibly had an even stronger influence over Emirates’ decision to announce this additional service: cargo.
Emirates is one of the world’s largest air freight transport providers. It leverages the capabilities of the Boeing 777 to carry passengers along with a hefty load of belly cargo to generate additional revenue.
Why now? In recent weeks the UAE and the Philippines have signed a new trade agreement (CEPA) which reduces tariffs and barriers to trade. That, to Emirates’ eyes, means more freight flowing between the countries.
