Emirates Summer 2025- More A350 Destinations and Services Across the Network

The Airbus A350-900 is only a newcomer to the Emirates fleet, however, it’s already going places. The airline is including the ultra-modern aircraft in more of its operations and, with more units present in its fleet, is planning to shift gears once again for the 2025 summer season with new destinations and services.

More Emirates A350-900 Destinations Coming in Summer 2025

The northern summer season is simply a super important time of the year, even for a carrier the size of Emirates. That wealthy European market comes alive with travelers and tourists heading into the continent but also moving in the opposite direction.

That’s why we’re starting to see strategic moves from airlines setting up their operations to ride the wave when travelers make their moves.

Specifically, to Emirates, the Dubai-based airline is putting to good use the newest additions to its fleet, the A350-900s. The aircraft type only entered the airline’s fleet a few months ago but will be a key piece of its operations come summer 2025.

EK (Emirates’ IATA code) will add new destinations medium and long-haul destinations to the A350 network for the warmer months, such as:

  • Tunis on flight EK747 – Starting June 1st, 2025
  • Amman on flight EK905 – Starting June 1st, 2025
  • Istanbul on flight EK117 – Starting July 1st, 2025
  • Dammam on flight EK827 – Starting July 1st, 2025
  • Ho Chi Minh City on flight EK364 – Starting August 1st, 2025
  • Baghdad on flight EK931 – Starting August 3rd, 2025
  • Oslo on flight EK159 – Starting September 1st, 2025

Of course, the dates do depend on the reliability of the aircraft deliveries. They might be pushed back or moved forward depending on the actual aircraft arrival dates.

As of March 2025, Emirates only operates a fleet of 4 Airbus A350-900s. That number should shoot up over the next months as newly produced units should make their way to their new home in Dubai.

The A350-900 is particularly important for Emirates as it fills the void left by the retirement of the A330-200s while allowing to offer the latest hard product the airline has to offer. The planes feature the latest, most modern versions of Emirates’ Business and Economy Class along with all new Premium Economy cabins.

Our strategic A350 expansion across diverse geographies in the Middle East/GCC, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia leverages the aircraft’s operational flexibility and efficiency, while offering more customers expanded premium travel options and the opportunity to experience our latest generation interiors like Business Class and Premium Economy along with plenty of thoughtful touches throughout every cabin, now available in more cities than ever before.

Bahrain and Kuwait Getting More Daily Flights

Remaining on Emirates A350 news, the airline is planning to up the number of A350s on two of its shortest network routes later this year.

Both Bahrain and Kuwait will see some of their Boeing 777s Emirates flights move onto the A350-900. Those changes will take place on June 1st, 2025, for flights:

  • EK835 to Bahrain.
  • EK857 to Kuwait.

Kuwait and Bahrain were also among the first destinations Emirates ever used its new A350s for.

The Emirates A350-900 Heading to Bologna Sooner Than Expected

Finally let’s wrap things up with a destination closer to me, Bologna. Bologna, Italy, was in the original list of destinations intended to receive A350 services first. However, due to some aircraft arriving later than expected the date was pushed back some time ago. However, if you’re in Bologna and or travelling to Bologna on Emirates in the summer, great news!

Emirates has moved forward the introduction of the A350-900 to the Italian city. Emirates A350-900 services from Dubai to Bologna will commence June 1st, 2025.
