The conflict in the Middle East set back the plans for one of the most ambitious airlines launching in recent years, Riyadh Air. The airline was supposed to start up its operations this year and progressively increase flights between the Middle East, Europe, and beyond. However, now flights are going on sale for departures from July 1st onwards to London Heathrow.

Riyadh Air Finally Puts its London Heathrow Flights on Sale
Finally, we have the timings and the schedule for the first Riyadh Air flights, which will be operating starting July 1st, 2026.
The first flight unimaginatively is to London Heathrow, which is the most served destination from all Middle Eastern countries internationally on long haul.
The flight will have a daily frequency, operating in the early hours of the morning from Riyadh to London and throughout the day on the reverse sector.

As for the aircraft, it’ll be the only long-haul aircraft that Riyadh currently has in its fleet: the Boeing 787-9. As it awaits the arrival of A321neo and A350, the airline will operate all of its long-haul operations on the Boeing Dreamliner.
