United Airlines Brings Back Kids Meal Service

As covid travel restriction ease around the world, we see bits and pieces of in-flight services previously suspended return to the skies. This is also the case for United Airlines. Specifically this service regards their smallest and youngest passengers.

United Airlines Brings Back Kids' Meal Service

After the absence due to the reduction of in flight services during covid, the wait is over. It is now possible to book again a kids meal when booking a flight on United Airlines.

Do keep in mind that the kid's meal will be available only on a selection of flights and not all the United network. The flights where it'll be possible to order a kid's meal are those flights longer than 2,000 miles which include a full complimentary meal service in the fare.

Also you'll have to book the kid's meal well in advance. You can do so either when booking your flight under the special meals section or before the flight, generally 14 to 10 days before as rule of thumb, in the manage your booking section of the airline's site.

The Kids' Meal a Helping Hand For Kids and Parents

It is always a very nice touch for airlines to offer the possibility to pre-order a kids' meal. It's a little touch that helps make the flight a little easier for parents and children alike.

I remember personally hating the regular menu food as a child when flying the super long trip between Rome and Sydney Australia. Having a kids' meal just made the flight a little less hard on myself and my mom who had to deal with me for over 20 hours on the journey.
