What to read out of the data

Embraer posted 44 deliveries for the initial three months of 2026, a much lower value compared with Q4 of 2025.

Deliveries in Q4 of 2025 stood at 91; however, this is not at all uncommon for Embraer and Airbus alike.

Embraer delivered one Embraer E190-E2 in the Q1 of 2026, along with other nine commercial aircraft, accounting for ten planes out of the total 44 delivered in Q1.

These two manufacturers generally deliver most of their aircraft in the second half of the year, with the highest delivery rate in Q4 of the year.

Despite the lower figures compared to Q4 of 2025, Embraer deliveries when staked up against Q1 of 2025. More business jets and commercial planes were delivered.

The only dip was noticeable in the defense and security sector. One aircraft less than 2025 was delivered, with only 1 KC390 Millennium delivered, while that figure stood at two last year.

Promising increases in deliveries from Q1 2026

Overall, Embraer has posted a 47% increase year over year in aircraft deliveries. In Q1 2025, Embraer had delivered 30 jets, while that has risen to 44 in Q1 2026.

Executive aviation increased by 26%, jumping up to 29 jets from 23 last year. It must be noted that in this segment, it is the smaller jets, the light jets, that are the leading force.

In commercial aviation the manufacturer achieved a 43% increase over Q1 2025, delivering 10 aircraft against seven last year.

The most delivered aircraft was once again the E-175. The older generation aircraft which is still heavily sold to American carriers.

The remaining four commercial aircraft were of the E-2 new generation. Breaking that further down one E190E2 was delivered along with another three E195-E2.

Where that puts Embraer against its guidance

Embraer has released its guidance figure for 2026 of 240 to 255 commercial and executive aviation aircraft to be delivered.

That is a slight bump up compared to the levels that it was looking to achieve in 2025.

With 39 aircraft currently delivered in Q1 of 2026 Embraer has delivered 16.25% of its guidance at the higher end and 15.29% at the lower end.

I have developed my passion into a deep knowledge of the sector and industry to offer on my sites in depth and precise analyses of what is going on. I also completed cabin crew training with Ryanair, however, I never worked for the company (more on that another time). Finally I also have taken flying lessons completing my first solo flights.
