Lufthansa Group Launches a New Brand Identity

A subtle refresh for the Group, not the individual airlines

Somehow 2025 seems to have been a year for brand identity shifts. The most significant one to take effect was Korean Air's. As the year draws to a close Lufthansa announces one of its own. However, it won't involve the airlines but the Group.

Lufthansa Group Launches a New Brand Identity

Yes that's right, none of the airlines will be changing brand identity, logo, livery or anything of that sort. It'll be the Lufthansa Group, which controls all airlines, to change part of its corporate identity. Nothing drastic though.

The Lufthansa Group corporate identity will be changing but in minor ways. A refresher to the group's appearance but nothing that most passenger will even notice.

What’s New in Lufthansa Group’s Visual Identity

The main changes the new Lufthansa Group span across:

  • Logo
  • Corporate color palee
  • Typeface

The logo is the most interesting change of the lot. Don't worry, the Lufthansa iconic crane isn't going anywhere. However, it won't be featuring the circle around it any longer. Do remember this will only be applied to the Lufthansa Group logo and not to the Lufthansa airline logo.

The corporate color palette will also be broadened to reflect the diversity that now characterizes the group. Additionally a new typeface has been chosen. All in all small changes that won't make a significant difference for most passengers, which are however already applied to boarding passes and other official documentation.

One change that some might notice will be the wording “Member of the Lufthansa Group” which will be applied to all aircraft operating under the group's umbrella.
